SILKSEA's original studies are working browser experiences rather than recorded demonstrations. Each one begins with a specific relationship—between language and tension, gesture and residue, or typography and light—then makes that relationship available to pointer, touch, and keyboard input.

The interaction is the work, not a layer on top.
These studies are made to reveal how a visual system behaves over time. A still image can show composition, but it cannot show inertia, response, hesitation, or return. The browser becomes the medium because the visitor's movement is part of what gives each study form.
Every system therefore has a clear resting state and a clear reason to move. The response is designed around the subject instead of applying the same cursor effect to unrelated content.

Portents — interactive I Ching typography
Vertical passages remain readable at rest, then bend through local pull, fixed-length curves, inertia, and slow settling.

Trace — generative gesture drawing
Pointer speed, direction, turns, and pauses are rebuilt as a cumulative ribbon unique to the movement that produced it.

Refraction — kinetic typography and light
Readable DOM type, a local lens, dispersion, caustic detail, and a delayed warm-orange field respond at different rates.

Built as public web experiences
The live studies stay inside the responsibilities of a public page. Semantic equivalents preserve meaning outside the visual canvas; keyboard and reduced-motion paths retain access; and high-frequency input is handled close to the rendering loop so the response remains immediate.
The same principles carry into commissioned interactive websites: the concept, motion system, frontend structure, performance, and fallback behavior are treated as one design problem.
