ABOUT / INDEPENDENT DIGITAL PRACTICE
An independent digital practice for interactive work.
SILKSEA focuses on image, motion, and time in the browser. Visual direction and frontend engineering stay connected from the first question to the public release, so the final interaction keeps the clarity and character of the original idea.
- FOCUS
- Interactive websites, real-time graphics, and original browser work
- APPROACH
- Visual direction and frontend engineering developed together
- MEDIUM
- The open, responsive, accessible web
01
The browser is a field of perception.
A browser experience unfolds through sequence: what is visible first, what answers movement, what waits, and what remains after attention shifts. SILKSEA composes those moments as deliberately as type, color, image, and space.
Technology is not treated as the spectacle. It stays inside each natural response, leaving a clear and fluid encounter rather than a list of effects competing for attention.
02
Direction and implementation stay together.
The work crosses visual systems, motion direction, real-time graphics, interaction prototypes, and production frontend. Keeping these decisions close prevents an expressive concept from becoming generic when it reaches the browser.
Performance, accessibility, responsive behavior, and fallback states are part of the same craft. They are resolved alongside the visual idea instead of being added after the experience has already taken shape.

Proof lives in the browser
-
01
Portents
An I Ching text field where language remains readable while tension and inertia travel through vertical chains.
-
02
Trace
A generative drawing surface that translates real gesture into width, curvature, accumulation, and pause.
-
03
Refraction
An interactive typography study separating readable type, local lensing, and a delayed field of warm light.
